Haibach wildlife park & climbing forest
The Haibacher Wildpark has existed for almost 40 years. About 4,5 different animal species live on the 20 hectare site. The wildlife park is home to red deer, wild boar, goats, donkeys and poultry.
The climbing forest at the wildlife park is the top address when it comes to fun and action. The forest ropes course is divided into five different courses at a height of 3 to 12 meters with different levels of difficulty. In addition, children from 1,20 years of age can climb on the mini course at a height of 4 meters when accompanied by their parents.

Heigenbrücken wildlife park & climbing park
Here, the participants of almost every age and constitution can independently walk the course with its different levels of difficulty after a short briefing and master around 60 different obstacles at heights between 3m and 15m. A trainer on the ground monitors the participants and can intervene at any time. There are two children's courses with three zip lines and a climbing wall for the very youngest (possible from the age of 3 under the supervision of an accompanying person). For all non-climbers, both the wildlife park with its diverse play options and the forest nature trail on the way to the grotto are an alternative activity. Countless hiking trails in the Spessart Nature Park are just waiting to be discovered.

Niedernberg
The municipality of Niedernberg is nestled between the Main, a beautiful lake landscape and the Odenwald Nature Park. Hiking on the Franconian red wine hiking trail or diving in the silver lake as well as wonderful walks along the Main and getting to know the historical places. Niedernberg was first mentioned in documents in 1095. You can get to know the local history on a walk along the village circular walk.
Aschaffenburg
The romantic old town of the city, which is over 1000 years old, with its dreamy alleys and historic half-timbered houses, entices you to make delightful discoveries at every turn. The red sandstone castle is one of the most important and beautiful buildings of the German late Renaissance. The collegiate church is the oldest church in Aschaffenburg, which was built in the 10th century.
Schönbusch Park
The Schönbusch Park is one of the oldest landscape gardens in Germany. From 1776, the Archbishop of Mainz Friedrich Carl von Erthal had his game park redesigned in the English landscape style.
There is definitely a maze to discover, which was created in the years 1820. In addition, a large playground for the little ones and rowing boats are allowed on the lake. The “Kulinarischer Schönbusch” café & restaurant is highly recommended.

Franconian red wine hiking trail
The Franconian red wine hiking trail runs on selected beautiful routes between Großwallstadt and Bürgstadt and directly along the Seehotel Niedernberg. The hiking trail has been connecting the vineyards in Churfranken since 1990 and is the ideal offer for pleasure hikers, under the motto: Live slowly. You can hike 79 km in length in six stages or just discover individual stages.

Mildenburg
The Archbishops of Mainz had the Mildenburg built at the end of the 12th century to secure their position of power and a customs office. Since an extensive renovation, old icons and contemporary art are presented in the Museum Burg Miltenberg, which enter into an exciting dialogue.

Franciscan monastery Engelberg
It can be reached by car or via 612 stone steps, the so-called “angel squadrons”. According to legend, the building material is said to have carried angels up. The stairway leads past six chapels from the 17th century. Capuchins built today's monastery building in 1630, which still includes a visit to the monastery parlor. Only here is the delicious dark monastery beer made from wooden barrels based on an original recipe from the monks and wine from the monastery 's own cultivation. The monastery is a 25-minute drive away.
Klingenberg
Klingenberg has a picturesque historic old town with numerous half-timbered houses from the 16th and 17th centuries. One of the most beautiful half-timbered houses is the old town hall from 1561. It once had an open market hall under the large arcades on the base floor. It was used as a town hall until 1885, after which the post office was located until 1934. After extensive renovation, the Tourist Information moved into the half-timbered house in 2001.
Clingenburg castle ruins
The castle was built in 1177 and is a remnant of four castle groups in the Klingenberg area. The castle ruins of Clingenburg can be reached on foot via the castle stairs at the entrance to the gorge or past the wine and local history museum via a less steep ascent. You can expect a unique view over the Main valley and the roofs of the medieval old town as well as an open-air café.

Rare creek Klingenberg
The Seltenbach Gorge is one of the 100 most beautiful geotopes in Bavaria. The Buntsandstein rocks there tell of catastrophic floods and huge tidal waves that hit Lower Franconia millions of years ago. Connected to one another by footbridges and narrow wooden bridges, the narrow stream meanders along the hiking path through the gorge.

Seligenstadt
Seligenstadt offers a mixture of historical ambience and modernity, of tranquility and liveliness, of traditional and urban flair.
It is a historic city with a vital, modern city life and special flair. On a stroll through the old town alleys and over the market and Freihofplatz, you will see beautiful half-timbered houses and idyllic squares. A further walk is recommended to take to the monastery grounds of the former Benedictine abbey in the middle of the old town. The medieval monastery complex underwent a baroque construction in the 18th century. The reconstructed around 8000 square meter convent garden with its useful and ornamental plants, the pharmacist and herb garden and the orangery has been portrayed several times in well-known garden magazines.
Seligenstadt can be reached in 20 minutes.
Wertheim
The Wertheim Castle, the historic market square, the imposing Protestant collegiate church or the "top tower". Get to know Wertheim - once a medieval residence and still thoroughly romantic in character, inviting you to take time out, travel through time, explore the area and experience new things. A city whose historical and cultural abundance revives and which offers unexpected encounters.

Mespelbrunn Castle
In about 25 minutes you can reach the beautiful Spessart valley Mespelbrunn with the Renaissance castle built in the Renaissance style. It is one of the most famous moated castles in Germany and celebrated its 2012th anniversary in 600.
Lohr am Main
also called the "Gate to the Spessart" or the "Snow White City"
The center of the old town is the Old Town Hall, which was built in 1599-1602 in the Renaissance style. You can reach Lohr in about 45 minutes.
Bayersturm - The city tower, the symbol of Lohr dates from the 13th / 14th Century.
Those who climb the 147 steps of the nearby 40m high city tower enjoy the most beautiful view of the old fishing district.
Fischergasse and Muschelgasse
The Lohr fishing district is completely a listed building. There is no better preserved medieval suburb in Lower Franconia. The ancient cobblestones in the alleys, the supportive, small historical living and craftsmen's houses, the exuberant floral decorations in summer. Lohr's charm can be clearly felt here.
